Land Trust Needed for "Subject To" personal residence?

If used as personal residence, should I use a land trust if want homestead exemption and property tax deductions?

i am learning the land trust.....but what i understand is that you will loose the homstead....because technically you dont own the property anymore...the land trusts owns it, and someone else lives in it {YOU}....just my opinion

Depending on your county, you should still be able to take your homestead exemption while using a trust. You will have to sign an affidavit to the fact that this is your personal residence.
