2 Insurance Policies Sub2 Posted by: ErikW Posted on : 8/18/2011 10:22:17 AM Wouldn't having 2 policies cause problems with an Excess Clause in the insurance policies?
Definition:
An excess clause is an insurance-policy provision. This clause requires an insurer?s liability to a loss only after exhausting any other source of coverage. This provision is generally contained in the ?other insurance? section of the policy. This provision limits the insurer's liability to the amount exceeding other available coverage. Therefore, this clause essentially requires other insurers to pay first.
What is the best way to handle the insurance on sub2. I've searched the forum, but have found conflicting info.
Also is William still active in the forum? I am considering purchasing the sub2 course, but if I have any questions I am hoping he is still available for questions.
Thanks,
Erik |

Yes, I am still here. I have just been traveling a little more than usual here this Summer and am actually here in Montana for a few more days before returning home.
Erik, to answer your question, no, having 2 policies will not be a problem and that comes straight from my State Farm agents mouth.
