“After being a landlord for years I started looking into creative ways to acquire property without using bank loans. I dedicated myself to reading all the course material I could get my hands on. The more I learned, the more interested I became in the Subject-to acquisition technique. The idea of getting the deed made a lot of sense to me. I started reading the sub-to forum and asking questions.

I reached a point where I could answer most of the questions posted by other people and felt it was time to get started. In the summer of 2003 I had the pleasure of meeting William Tingle and talking about sub-to deals. It was the inspiration I needed to jump in!

I started getting ‘face-to-face’ with sellers. After meeting with some and doing all the follow ups, the results came in. I had 2 sub-to purchase offers accepted in one week and I closed on my first short sale too!

One sub-to is a no money down deal…simply taking over the payments.
(I plan on wholesaling this one)

The other will require approx $2000 to the seller for relocating, but offers a great profit margin after rehab.
